I wouldn't say an obsession with speed was unhealthy. Our lives are full of technology and it feels like we have to wait for everything to happen. We have all just got used to it, from the seconds we wait for our iphone to load the camera app, to the minute or so we wait for our computers to boot up. I for one want instant gratification, you press... it happens... no delay...

If you wait until black friday to shop you might as well forget it, with all the stores opening at 10pm on thanksgiving. All the specials will be all gone, after all they only carry 10 items or some crazy number per store. Staying home this year.

The Groupon business model is based on hype and is going to burst just like the dotcoms. How can a model that relies on it's customers (the businesses taking part in the offers with Groupon, not the end coupon user) losing money with such high risks sustain itself? Groupon fails to deliver genuine value to business owners.

If +1 ratings can influence the relevancy of sites and potentially bump a site up the listings for people logged into a Google Account, how does this affect the relevancy of sites and their subsequent position in search listings for people who do not have a Google account or are not logged in? Do they still achieve the same ranking (because, although someone is not logged in, 15 people who are, have recommended the site) or do they come lower in the list as if they have no +1's at all?

Search engine Marketing and SMS need to be a priority for any marketing strategy. Mobile marketing is a direct and personal instant link between you and your customers.
