1. You’ve checked the meta-tags of your daughter’s Girl Scout website.
2. You’re seeing how many conversions you received at 7:30 am … on a Sunday.
3. You’ve talked to anyone at Google in the last 48 hours.
4. You’ve spent more than an hour trying to figure out how to fit a five letter action verb into three character spaces.
5. You already know how to fit a five letter action verb into three character spaces.
6. There is swag from more than two engines sitting on your desk.
7. You optimize .ico tags.
8. You refer to Google as “Sergey and Larry’s Guide to the World Wide Web”.
9. You’ve ever blamed a bad day on an “Algorithim Update”.
10. You’ve ever said “Baby, I’m going to be late for dinner, the API is jacked”
It’s official: you’re a geek.

I’m relieve to find out I’m an 8 and not a 10.
Do you have to have a certain score to stay employed here?!?! LOL
Although I was pretty scared after answering yes to 2 through 5, I only scored a 4. I guess you could give me a .5 on #1 because I do not have kids or check Girl Scout sites, but I have checked out other sites’ tags. And I guess another .5 on #6 because I have schwag from two engines (Yahoo and Google) but not “more than” 2 … though I do have schwag from Pointroll, Investor’s Business Daily, CourtTV and TLC from my display days. So you could say I scored a 5 and that I’m 50% search geek and 50% display geek.
And if you count how many hours I am online in a day, then I am definitely an Internet geek if that counts for anything.
Any and every way that you add it up, I’m 100% geek. Period.
